Obama’s Unique Advertising

Today, the Americans is having a breakthrough in their political environment. As we all know, the final Candidates from the Democrat is commonly discussed in almost every media. Why? Is it because the “man” is a shout out of “See? A black friend!”. Well, the fact is even hardened racists feel the impulse to believe they are no such thing. Obama Barrack is stand strong with all of the “changes” that he willing to gave to the Americans, despite that he is African-American thingy yet  he still lead the runway.

“How are the Americans able to get his messages out?” Ya it is the second question that comes up my mind. Then after browsing and do some “research” I figure that Obama has a promising strategies that could be a disaster to McCain party. Obama advertise him self in such a unique way, the posters, brochures, t-shirt and he even takes the lead with another emerging technology: video games! The technology is only 18 months old, and Obama is the first presidential candidate to buy space for the Xbox Live system. “The ads — appearing on billboards and other signage — remind players that early voting has begun and plug a campaign Web site that encourages people to register for early voting.”

Burbank resident Noah Sheets, 25, committed himself to wearing a pro-Obama T-shirt everyday until the election. “With the way these things have gone in the past, you can never be too sure until it’s all over,” said Sheets, wearing a “Baracktourage” T-shirt that portrayed the presidential candidate and members of his staff as characters from the HBO series Entourage?

This is what is great about America’s Democracy.  People are allowed to speak freely here. In advertising you create a look for something, and if you are making a logo you want that “look” to carry, and stick in people’s minds.  When you see the logo for “Coffebean,” you know you are going to get coffee, right? Maybe looking at the logo makes you think of your favorite coffee drink that you like to buy when you go there.  Maybe looking at the logo makes you imagine you “taste” the drink you are going to choose? Well maybe this is Obama try to copy to his voters. below is the picture of Obama advertising in such media. Which on do you like? 🙂

Look a like?

James Morrison (born 13 August 1984) is an English singer, songwriter, and guitarist born in Rugby. He now lives near Brighton.

In 2006, he debuted with the single “You Give Me Something” which became a huge hit around Europe, Australia, and Japan, charting at #5 in the UK and #1 in New Zealand. His debut album, Undiscovered, went to #1 in the UK. James revealed that he can change a nappy in under one minute, on Radio 1.
Contents James Morrison had a dream start to his career as a singer-songwriter – his debut album Undiscovered yielded no fewer than five singles – You Give Me Something, Wonderful World, The Pieces Don’t Fit Anymore, Undiscovered and One Last Chance.

He toured Europe, Australia and Japan, did three separate tours of America, gigging coast to coast. He also supported John Mayer on his large outdoor ‘sheds’ tour in the US. James loved the musical appreciation in the American South, in particular. “People were awesome in Alabama – really friendly, loud and lairy. Even if you play a quiet song, afterwards they just go YEAH!!!” In August 2007 he sat down to write and record the Notoriously Difficult Second Album. And at first it did prove difficult. “As soon as I’d get something good I’d think about it and screw it up.” And then the penny dropped: “Just go for what you’re feeling at the time. That’s how I worked on the first album, and in a way I think that’s some of the reason why people liked it. It wasn’t trying too hard.” And so the people who really made him feel, the ones who became the subjects of his songs on Undiscovered – his family and friends – his relationship with each of them, and the new chapters in all their lives, became central to the new album. James went with whatever and whoever was on his mind, and took it from there. The songs began to flow.

“I’ve called the album Songs for You, Truths for Me because that’s what I feel it is. It’s songs for Gill and everyone else. But for me they’re truths. They’re how I feel.”

Songs for You, Truths For Me is a classic James Morrison record that once again showcases his distinctive, raw, soulful style – but takes it to the next level. “It’s less playful, more to the point,” he says. “But I haven’t consciously gone for a different sound. With me, it always comes down to the lyric, the melody, and the rest flows from that.”

James Morrison’s big, unashamedly romantic heart and generous spirit shines through like a beacon. Songs For You, Truths For Me sees the wide eyed soul-boy become a wiser man. With this he shines once more on a brilliant new collection of songs and cathartic truths.

Tips of the day!

Bagaimana meningkatkan kreativitas kita?

Jadilah penjelajah pikiran
“In veniam viam aut faciam (I will find a way or make one – saya akan menemukan jalan atau membuat jalan baru)” – Robert E. Peary penjelajah pertama yang mencapai Kutub Utara:

Kembangkan pertanyaan
Bertanyalah tentang apa saja.

Kembangkan gagasan sebanyak -banyaknya

The best way to get good ideas is to get a lot of ideas.” -Linus Pauling, Nobel winning for Chemical

Isilah sumber inspirasi anda

The bow kept forever taut will break.”

With a bowl of my private insights on spirituality, a pinch of science, a jar of environmental issues, some literature spices, and sacks of simple events from my daily life, this is a naked kitchen where everyone is invited to watch how I juggle with all of the ingredients. Creativity trough Coco Chanel style

Quotes from Coco Chanel;

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”

“Fashion is architecture: it is a matter of proportions.”

Coco Chanel

When I was thinking about the most creative person on earth, Coco Chanel appeared to be my second thought after Leonardo Da Vinci. Why her? Well people after you finished reading this post, I guess you all be sorry for asking why? Lol. The Beginning Coco Chanel was also known as Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel, she adopted the name Coco during a brief career as a cafe and concert singers. From her first millinery shop, opened in 1912, to the 1920s, Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel rose to become one of the premier fashion designers in Paris, France. Curious about her looks? Check this gorgeous image of her!

Coco Chanel and the famous hat

The breaktrough
Coco Chanel was the first designer who dare to replace the corset with comfort and casual elegance, her fashion themes included simple suits and dresses, women’s trousers, costume jewelry, perfume, textiles and her simple hats became popular.
Soon she was expanding to couture, working in jersey, a first in the French fashion world. By the 1920s, her fashion house had expanded considerably, and her chemise set a fashion trend with its “little boy” look. Her relaxed fashions, short skirts, and casual look were in sharp contrast to the corset fashions popular in the previous decades. Chanel herself dressed in mannish clothes, and adapted these more comfortable fashions which other women also found liberating.

Creative in Da Vinci way

Creative in Da Vinci way

One of the most creative person in my version is Leonardo da Vinci. Who doesn’t know da Vinci? He is an architect, mucisian, writer, sculpture, and an Italian renaissance painter. He is a creative machine that form as a person, his idea is new and inspiring. This also inspire Dan Brown, a book writer of The Da Vinci Code that tell the secret from da Vinci paintings. This novel was adopted as a base story of a successful movie that yet stormy the Christian in all over the world.
Da Vinci was often called as the “universal genius”, because of his legendary paintings like “The Last Supper” and “Mona Lisa”. In the period of his life, da Vinci is also known because his idea that anticipate the modern technology, but he never had the chance to realize it. The design that popular is the flying human that he create and developed by The Wright Brother into an airplane. He also generate the idea of modern vehicle; tank and car that he duplicate into coloured paintings. Da Vinci is also the person who’s in charge in developing anatomy science, astronomy, and even culinary.
